"SQUIRREL & THE KATAK" / GILLMAN BARRACKS
MAIN ROLE: PROP BUILDER & PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Squirrel and the Katak (frog in Malay), was a show put on for the Gillman Barracks' Art Day Out in Singapore. It is a large gallery space which holds annual art events directed at families. The company was commissioned to put up a show.
As my very first design that I was doing on my own without external advice, it was a challenge that I enjoyed taking on! My aim was to convey the child-like wonder in colours that children would enjoy.
HOUSE OF CURIOSITIES / SINGAPORE NIGHT FESTIVAL 2016
MAIN ROLE : SET, PROPS & COSTUME DESIGNER
House of Curiosities was a production in the Singapore Night Festival, 2016. The story centres around a robot boy and his father in search of his heart.
My role was to assist the set designer in building props and dressing the set. In addition, I was tasked with creating the main illustration that was featured on the promotional material.

MAIN ROLE: PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
This was the first large-scale production that I was involved in. I functioned as a set and prop assistant, learning the ropes of prop-building and the ideas behind set design.
